Koa is already one of the most chill puppies we’ve ever fostered! She’s very respectful of our older dog (though she does try to cuddle a little more than he’d like – he’s starting to accept it). She’s also respectful of the cat and mostly ignores him.

She was potty trained within the first day of having her and usually only needs to be corrected once before understanding and respecting a boundary. Her ability to learn and adapt is incredibly uncommon. She’s always up for playtime but equally happy to cuddle, depending on your energy.

Koa is kennel trained both when we’re away and through the night, and she’ll even choose to relax in there for afternoon naps from time to time. Our next adventure is leash training – she doesn’t love it yet, but I don’t think it will take her long to figure it out!

She doesn’t jump and isn’t “mouthy” or “toothy,” which makes her great with kids too. Any family would be lucky to love her.
