Slightly timid

*Insert tiniest squeak you’ve ever heard*

Hi, I’m Kelly! I’m the sweetest little lady in town, or so I’ve been told. At the shelter they thought I was a bit shy, but the second I got home, I proved them wrong. New sounds can make me pause for a moment, but I’m actually very brave and warm up quickly. I went from hanging out in the bathroom to confidently exploring my whole new house in just a day and a half!

My absolute favorite thing in the world is being petted. The second you touch me, I start purring as loudly as possible to let you know how happy I am. I’ve spent entire afternoons sitting with my foster mom, rubbing against her legs, rolling around, head-bonking her for more attention, and purring nonstop. I seriously cannot get enough love!

I was a little unsure about toys at first, but now I’ve discovered how fun they are. I love chasing rope toys, batting springs across the room, and wrestling with little catnip toys until I’m squeaking with excitement and rolling all over the floor.

I also have a foster cat sister who’s actually a little more shy than I am. From the moment I arrived, I was totally relaxed sharing space with her. I happily explore while she watches and sniffs me as I stroll by. I think with a little time, we could become very good friends. We’ve actually played a few times… I think she likes me. Who couldn’t! 

I don’t mean to brag, but I really am the sweetest girl looking for a calm, loving home where I can explore, play, and settle in comfortably. More than anything, I’m excited to find a family to share my huge heart with because I’m incredibly affectionate and friendly. And don’t worry, if you’re busy or away during the day, I’m perfectly happy lounging around until it’s time for cuddles again.
