Toby is an incredibly sweet and lovable boy who has quickly become a favourite among his caregivers! With his happy personality, affectionate nature, and eagerness to connect with people, Toby is the kind of dog who leaves a lasting impression on everyone he meets. He absolutely loves attention, cuddles, and spending quality time with his humans, and he never says no to a few extra pets or some gentle brushing sessions.

This handsome guy is also a wonderful walking companion and has done very well on outings with his caregivers. Toby is an energetic and enthusiastic dog who enjoys staying active and engaged with the world around him. He is highly food motivated and already knows several basic cues, making him a great candidate for continued positive reinforcement training. Toby is a smart boy who already knows commands such as “sit,” “down,” and “leave it,” and he enjoys learning and working with his people. He thrives when given structure, consistency, and fun mental enrichment activities that keep his busy mind engaged.

Like many young and energetic dogs, Toby can sometimes get a little overexcited and may need continued support with impulse control and manners, especially when greeting people or during exciting moments. He responds best to calm handling and slower movements that help him settle and focus.
