Hi, my name is Canyon (but my foster family has been calling me Carlita)! I am just so happy with life and nothing gets me down!

I had a bit of a tough start to life, but I bounced back and am now one happy, outgoing girl! I like everyone and everything!

I love playing. Playing is my absolute favorite thing. My brother gets mad at me because I try to play, even when he’s tired. I even try to play with the resident dogs here, but they don’t like to play very much. When I go outside, I use the potty every time and I’m still working on letting my foster family know when I need to go. I know I’ll figure it out soon though! I like my kennel a lot. I sleep through the night and even nap in it. When the door gets opened, I will usually stay in there a bit until I’m ready to come out.

I’m learning lots of new things every day and starting to understand what my foster family is teaching me.
