Hi, I’m Ceylon. I’m a shy boy who needs a little time to feel safe, but I promise I’m worth the wait.

Ceylon is a very shy and sensitive boy who is still learning that the world can be a safe place. New environments and unfamiliar people can feel overwhelming for him, so he needs time and patience to build trust at his own pace. He feels safest when he has a quiet space where he can observe from a distance and slowly grow comfortable in his surroundings.

Ceylon is still learning that humans can be kind and predictable. He will need a patient adopter who understands that trust cannot be rushed. A quiet home with a consistent routine will help him continue building confidence. In return, you will get to experience the incredibly special bond that comes from earning the trust of a shy cat.

Other cats truly bring out the best in Ceylon. He gains confidence from having feline friends around and seems happiest when he has a kitty companion to follow and learn from. In a home with another friendly, confident cat, he is much more likely to continue blossoming. He does not mind calm, respectful dogs as long as they give him space and allow him to move at his own speed.
