Mocha is a stunning big-eyed tortoiseshell with the softest coat you’ve ever felt and barely any shedding to match!

When she first arrived at the shelter, Mocha was very shut down and overwhelmed. But once she came home with us and was given a quiet bedroom to settle into, she completely surprised us.

On her very first night, Mocha climbed into bed and cuddled with us, and from that moment on, she’s been nothing short of perfect. She’s incredibly quiet at night, an absolute champion snuggler, and she loves wand toys. As she’s grown more comfortable, her personality has continued to blossom, she now rolls over to show her belly for pets and greets us in the mornings with sweet little chats.

Mocha truly thrives in a calm, predictable environment. In her previous home, loud noises, kids, and dogs caused her significant stress, which led to behavioral challenges. Since being in a quiet home and on medication, we haven’t seen even a hint of those behaviors return. She’s happiest when she can be close to her people, soaking up affection and companionship.

Mocha has completely stolen my heart, she’s easily been my favorite foster, and I fell for her faster than I ever expected. While I wish I could keep her forever, I know there’s a special, patient home out there that will give her the peaceful life she deserves. In the right environment, Mocha will be an incredibly loving, devoted companion.
