Onyx is a handsome 2-month-old German Shepherd cross who is friendly, curious, and full of puppy energy. He loves to run around, explore, and happily entertain himself with his favorite chew toys. Playtime is a big highlight of his day, especially when he gets to interact with the world around him.

Onyx is doing wonderfully with his puppy basics. He sleeps well, is learning not to jump or nip, and is already practicing good manners like sitting and waiting patiently for his food. He plays nicely with the resident dogs and enjoys their company. While he hasn’t met a cat yet, he’s young and still learning about all kinds of new experiences.

He’s making great progress with house training and will go to the bathroom outside when taken out regularly. Onyx is also learning that leashes mean walks—an exciting discovery for a growing pup who’s eager to explore! He may bark a bit for attention, but he settles quickly and is happy to curl up for a nap afterward.
