About Maisie
Now that my days of being a momma are over, it is time for me to concentrate on finding myself a forever home. I’m a calm and loving girl who enjoys spending quality time with my foster mom. I love being petted, and I’m particularly fond of those chin scratches. If you go to the bathroom and leave the door open I will take that as an invitation to come on in and get some loving.
As a young feline, I love being part of playtime with my kittens. There is also something about high places that really gets my heart racing – I love to explore!
Although I’m not a timid cat, I do get nervous sometimes, especially when faced with the unexpected, which can make me jump straight up in the air; it’s a bit amusing, but it reveals my deeper insecurities.
Okay, here is the honest to goodness truth. It’s a cat-astrophe! I’m all over the place when it comes to the resident felines here. Some days I’m purr-fectly happy, and others, I’m hissing mad. Is it a hormonal thing? Am I protecting my kittens or just my own insecurities? My foster mom thinks it’s a combination of things including that I don’t tolerate cats that growl at me. I agree, I have no patience for this… and yes, I have sometimes been known to guard the so called ‘kitten room.’
Don’t get me wrong, I love the little dog at my current home, but when I’m at odds with one of the resident cats, my canine companion suddenly becomes their protector and chases me.
Purr-haps having a feline friend to play with would be a great idea, but I’m still undecided. Maybe just a small canine companion to keep me company and one that I can boss around.
If you are seeking a loving life long feline companion, then we definitely must meet! What are you waiting for… hit that button now! xo Maisie
