Murphy gets along great with other cats and is perfectly comfortable sharing her space with a small dog. While it did take her a little extra time to warm up to the new foster momma cat in our home, they are now friends most of the time.

Murphy has a soft spot for younger kittens and loves to play with them. She is the perfect companion for a home that already has another cat.

 Murphy has a charming quirk—she “coos” just like a pigeon whenever she growls. It’s one of the many things that makes her truly one-of-a-kind.

You might be wondering, “Why is this amazing girl still waiting for her forever family?” Murphy has been working closely with the incredible AARCS vet team regarding some ongoing medical concerns. She still has a slow healing mouth ulcer and some slightly enlarged lymph nodes; however she is now ready to find her forever home.

Here is the good news: You would never know Murphy is dealing with anything! Murphy is vibrant, energetic, and has absolutely no trouble eating. While she may require a restricted diet and some extra routine checkups with the vet to keep her feeling her best, she is truly worth every bit of the effort. She is a brave, resilient girl who doesn’t let her health journey slow her down for a second.
