Zoro is a super sweet and affectionate dog who truly enjoys being close to his people. He loves pets, attention, and companionship, and once he’s had a chance to burn off some energy, he’s happy to settle in and enjoy that closeness.

Zoro is an active guy who thrives when he can move, explore, and engage his busy mind. On walks, his nose is often glued to the ground as he happily takes in all the smells around him, making sniffy adventures one of his favorite activities. He generally does well on leash and continues to improve with practice, though exciting sights like people and other dogs can catch his attention.

A home with a private, fenced backyard would be ideal so he can stretch his legs, enjoy some zoomies, and decompress in his own space. This playful boy loves to chew and would do best with durable, hard toys, as softer ones don’t stand a chance.

During play, Zoro can get quite mouthy—he’s still learning polite dog manners. He will benefit greatly from continued training and guidance to help him understand appropriate play and work on jumping and mouthing behaviors. Because of this, a home with older, dog-savvy children is recommended. Zoro is food motivated, takes treats gently, and enjoys enrichment activities that challenge his nose and brain.
