About Rosquita
Sweet little Rosquita is a lovely, gentle girl ready to find her forever home. She bonds quickly and deeply, and once she chooses you, she wants nothing more than to be by your side- whether she’s warming up your lap, or perched on the sofa armrest binge watching TV with you.
She is fully housetrained and very well mannered around the house. She simply meanders around watching you go about your day. Rosquita loves her walks and is easy on leash-no pulling, no fuss, just a pleasant little companion trotting politely beside you. She is friendly with other small dogs, just not too interested in play. She’s more of a “I’ll lounge on the couch kind of girl”. Rosquita loves when company comes over for a visit, especially the kids who are calm and gentle with her. She’s even played a little bit of fetch with them.
Mealtime is one of her favorite parts of the day, often doing joyful little spins to express her excitement that food is coming. At night she sleeps in her comfy crate beside the bed snoring away.
She is getting better at being left alone for short periods of time, but will sometimes still show her displeasure of being left alone by barking. Perhaps if she had another doggy friend at home this wouldn’t happen.
Rosquita does have some medical issues that an adopter has to consider, along with the cost of the medication. But despite these issues she is so happy and shows no physical symptoms at this time.
Rosquita will make a wonderful companion. Someone who perhaps works from home or is semi retired. She simply wants to be close to her person and soak in all the love. It is a pleasure and a joy fostering this little sweetheart!
