Hello! My name is Bridgette and I must tell you a funny thing I did as soon as I got to my foster home. I went in and out the back door, in and out, in and out and in and out checking things out. It was like having a revolving door. Now I just sit at the door to go out. My tail never stops wagging! I love my foster family and I am getting more confident every day!” — XO, Bridgette 💞

Although Bridgette is timid and can be spooked easily by new sounds she is improving daily. She loves her walks and is very good on her lead. She is not a barker, loves car rides and doesn’t mind being left alone for a few hours, she just sleeps on her bed. She is leery of new people but warms up fairly quickly, for now, females faster than males.

She’s not a cuddler but she loves her cute ears rubbed as well as her belly.

We are working on commands: Bridgette has mastered come and stay, but we’re still working on sit.

Although she co-exists with the other dog in her foster home, Bridgette is not a fan of other dogs & will need to be the only dog in the home. So far, we are not sure about cats. She would probably love her forever home to be not too hectic.
