Moderately shy

Hi there, I’m Hummingbird!🐦💕 I’m a soft, medium-haired tortie with a beautiful coat and a sweet, gentle personality. When I first arrived, I was very shy and unsure about people. It took me some time to warm up but with patience and kindness, I learned that humans can be trusted. After about a month, I finally let my foster family pet me—and now, I absolutely love curling up on a lap for snuggles (on my terms, of course).

I really thrive in a calm, quiet environment where I know what to expect. Change can be hard for me, so I’d do best in a home with a predictable routine and lots of peaceful vibes. But once I get comfortable, I’ll reward you with sweet cuddles and even a little purring.

My foster family says I’m a lot more confident when I have another kitty friend around, so I’d love to have a friendly feline buddy to share my space with. I’m all about my personal space too, though—having a quiet room to retreat to is one of my favorite things.

Some of my favorite pastimes? Window watching, chasing string toys, rolling around with catnip toys, and—oh! Tube treats are my ultimate weakness. You won’t believe how fast I come running when I hear that crinkle!

I’m very tidy with my litter box (always perfect, no accidents!) and love both wet food and kibble.
