Moderately shy

Hello, I’m Jenny, a bashful girl, but I’m doing pretty well with some pets – especially when these kind people are going to feed me.  That is when I am most willing and invite some gentle petting. Ohhhhh,… and Temptations! Like most kitties, I know the shaking sound of that delicious bag of treats and I come running for those. 

As you can see, I’m a true Calico with a fabulous white bib, 4 white paws and the mix of the orange & black.  My foster parents say that I am a precious gem that needs to be gently mined and treated kindly and slowly.

During my waking hours, my green eyes are always wide, wide open so that I can take in everything around me.  I am very curious that way; there seems to be a lot to observe and learn.  I especially love looking out my foster parent’s windows and watching all the bird & squirrel activity.

I do have a foster roomie and we play and I especially love cuddling up in a donut with her.  So, if you have a roomie that I could curl up with and maybe learn some other cat routines with, I would be willing.  I play on my own too when my foster parents are in the other room watching TV. They can hear me running about. 

Even when I am nervous or uncomfortable, I do not have it in me to hiss or growl… I just can’t be mean like that.  But you will learn my cues when I have had enough… it’s usually just an escape away.
