Extremely shy

Introducing Liv! She is utterly adorable! She is still an extremely shy little girl, but in the weeks she’s been hanging out with us she has made a lot of progress! She will allow me to occasionally pet her, and she doesn’t instantly run to hide if we’re moving about the room; she watches instead.

She is absolutely IN LOVE our resident boy cats and does well around my resident grumpy girls (she typically ignores them). She LOVES to play, especially with her “chirpy” bird toy and will engage with us if we have a wand toy (because we can’t reach her). When she thinks I’m not looking, she likes to “sneak” up on me to poke me through my chair or lightly bat at me, which is SO cute! 

She is still quite afraid of humans but she is making good, steady progress. She will do best with adults or teens in a quiet, calm household… definitely no younger kids as they would be too much for her to handle.  She needs her humans to be very patient with her and too work with her at her own pace. She would do best with another friendly cat that would quickly accept her and continue to show her that humans are good (she engages with us the best when my resident males are with her).
