Wendy (who her foster affectionately has nicknamed “Win” and “Winnie”) is a vibrant, high-energy girl who’s always ready to tackle the next adventure—whether that’s running, hiking, playing fetch, or learning new tricks. This playful pup has an infectious enthusiasm for life and would love nothing more than to have a family or individual who can match her energy and zest. Wendy is smart and loves to stay busy, so if you’re looking for a dog who can keep up with an active lifestyle, Wendy is your perfect match!

What Wendy Loves:

Playing fetch (she’ll never tire of it!)
Mental stimulation—a variety of toys – puzzle toys, balls, ropes, stuffies, etc
Cuddles after a day full of action

She’s already house-trained, is working on basic commands, practicing boundaries (has an older German Shepherd friend right now to role model for her) and is very responsive to positive reinforcements. Wendy has mastered the game of fetch. Wendy is still working on walks but has loved socializing with community members and school children while on them. She will thrive in an environment where she gets plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, and she’d love a yard or access to outdoor space for play.

Wendy is looking for an experienced owner who can provide consistent training, plenty of activity, and with patience and structure, she’ll be an incredible companion.
