“Hello! I am Archie, the gentle giant!

The first thing you should know about me is that I love belly rubs! If you forget, don’t worry, I will kindly let you know!

My foster family calls me a “chill dude” or “King of Naps,” but I think that is misleading. I still love a good search through the toy bin. You will be able to hear me sniff and snort my way through the bin, until I have picked out a few to play with. By then I am usually so tired that I nap with them instead. If I find one with a squeaker though, look out! You will get to see a really silly boy!

Some of my other favorite things include going for chill walks, meeting new people, brief games of fetch, watching birds and squirrels through the window, peanut butter, and the sound of a chip bag. While the window is like my dog TV, I also enjoy watching human TV! Apparently the videos of me watching have gained a lot of fans! They also tell me they enjoy my snoring, but they call it a “gentle soothing white noise machine.” I don’t know what that means.

Now that you know all about my favorite things, I can tell you the more boring stuff.

I am very easy going and not phased by most things. I have only barked one time. If at first I am reluctant to try something new (like my crate or getting in the car), don’t worry I adapt very very quickly. I enjoy routine, so now I just put myself in the crate when it is time. The humans are so impressed again, but I don’t know why. Did they forget I love naps?!
