Moderately shy

Hi there, my name is Beaver but my spirit animal is definitely a panther. While I adapt to my new environment, the only part of me you will see are my eyes (yes, I can hide that well!). But once I get more comfortable, you’ll see me slinking slyly about, perching high up atop the cat tree or sitting on the windowsill watching the world outside go by.

I must admit that I am quite a shy cat and although it may be too early for a new year’s resolution, I’m working on my confidence. I’ve been in my foster home for about a month now and I am now coming out for pets and playtime. I can be quite chatty at times because, well, with me being so well hidden most of the time, I want the humans to remember that they have me. 

I enjoy having another confident cat in the household to show me that humans aren’t that scary and I absolutely love all the cat friendly plants that I can safely chew on. I just discovered catnip and well, that’s a story for another time!
