Little Boy Blues, come blow your horn: or bark, bark, bark, or chew the ball, or shake the stuffy, or steal the shoe, or chase the cats, or wrestle one of your 3 big dog sisters, or empty the toy box and play in it.

Never a dull moment with Little Blues around.

He is a busy boy with the sweetest personality. Though treat motivated, I’m his favorite because I tell him “good boy, good boy” and scratch his shoulders (not his head) the most!
Smart as can be, he loves to learn new things. 2 sessions of “come, sit, down”, and when I’d call him, he’d come and do all 3 without cueing.

Walks any time are a favorite, and Blues sets a fairly brisk pace. Strange sounds sometimes startle him but he’s becoming more familiar with the world outside his cozy home.

Being a puppy, he still is nippy – everything good goes in his mouth, including fingers and ankles. Maybe older kids or adults would understand his temporary antics more.

He’s doing well with potty training. If you don’t notice his cues or see him at the door, he’ll use a puppy pee pad.

He is very shy with new people but develops a strong bond with his chosen person.

As busy as he can often be, he’s happy to go in his crate with a cookie and some sound in the background when we go out for a bit, or curl up in a cozy spot for a nap. At night, he follows me upstairs and goes to bed in his crate in our room.

He is very good in the car. With harness on, he’s tethered in, lies down, and waits out the time, usually napping.

This little guy will bring new love and energy into his forever home. I will miss him, but my own crew will welcome my attention on them for a change!
