Slightly timid

Meet Fortune, a great conversationalist looking for a home full of fun and adventure!

Fortune has been with us just a few days so we are still getting to know her. She did not appreciate shelter life so we were uncertain how she would be in our home. We certainly did not anticipate the remarkable braveness and curiosity that she has shown us. She has absolutely blossomed in the few days she has been in our home.

She doesn’t care for being contained, broke out of her quiet space room after 2 days and hasn’t looked back. There is not an inch of our home she hasn’t explored since arriving, chirping and purring as she goes. She is a very brave girl with lots of friendly energy. She walked right up to our resident kitties and rubbed against them while they stood there rather shell shocked. 

Fortune is still in adventure mode. We have held her only once. She did well with it but much prefers four on the floor and exploring. She hasn’t engaged our cats in cuddles or play yet but is certainly not nervous around them. She adores our 13 year old daughter and asks her to follow her around the house. Fortune also flops around like a fish with getting love from our daughter. Belly rubs and chin scratches are greatly appreciated. She appreciates human companionship as she explores and is full of nonstop pleasant little chirps.

 We think she would thrive in a busy household with animal savvy children and pets.
