Hi there! My name is Manhattan (after the beverage), and I’ve been told I have the most adorable happy-puppy energy, so getting to know me will be a breeze! I seem to be a smaller guy but I have some BIG love to share!

I recently bid farewell to my littermates and I am now staying with my foster family. I like their setup at this house and don’t mind being a solo puppy at night or when my foster family is off running errands. When I’m not being ‘supervised’, I have my own cozy xpen setup with a bed, toys, and peepads — just in case — but I prefer doing my business outside! Frequent outdoor potty breaks are helping me get the hang of it. I love running around outside, and I’m learning to walk on a leash.

Egads, there’s a big dog in this place, and I know that I am also a dog, so I hope to be his new best friend! I got spanked by the cat that lives here, and I didn’t even do anything to her! I came in slowly for a sniff, and in a split second, it was WAP WAP WAP on my butt! Now I just try to sniff her from across the room while she stares at me.

I want to be good at the puppy basics, and I already know that if I sit nicely (even if I can’t stop my wagging tail and “wiggly butt” from moving), my foster mom has yummy treats for me! My foster mom will give you tips and tricks on what is working best for me.

Do you like to sing loudly or wear funny holiday sweaters? That’s okay – I won’t judge! I have a very sweet and loving nature. You don’t have to be perfect – just have a kind heart, and I’m sure I will adore you. We can chase toys together or cuddle up for some snuggle time. I’m pretty sure I will steal your heart!
