Santina is easily wary of humans and can be startled by fast, sudden movements and loud noises. Since recovering in a warm, loving, nurturing foster home, with patience, respect, and dignity, she has slowly warmed up to her loving foster Mom. Santina will even ask her loving foster Mom for a gentle head, neck, body, and occasional belly rub. Once she feels safe, Santina will now choose to sleep on her foster Mom’s bed, couch, by her feet, or side.
