Silver is the ultimate companion, loving whatever his humans enjoy. He’s equally happy for adventures or cozy snuggles at home. This sweet shepherd prefers shorter play sessions followed by naps. Some of his favorite activities include swimming, chasing balls, and enjoying belly rubs. Due to some resource guarding, Silver would do best in a home with older kids. He’s been working on trading items & is showing improvement!

Silver is fully house trained and is comfortable staying home alone. With his sensitive ears Silver does have a tendency to bark to alert you to any unusual sounds. Silver walks well and likes to walk a little in front keeping those squirrels at bay while he learns to feel more at ease around other dogs. Silver is still learning that not all dogs are scary. With patience and understanding, he’s making great progress every day!

Silver prefers to be the only animal in the home, so he can soak up all the attention. He chases cats and is selective with other dogs, so being the only animal suits him best! Silver will also guard high value food items from other dogs, so public off-leash parks are off limits for him. However he loves a good run at a private off-leash park!

With a wagging tail and a warm, fluffy presence, Silver is eager to share his love in his forever home!

Silver is currently attending Reactive Foundations classes at Dogma with his foster. This will provide him with valuable skills that will help him & his new family!
