Meet Brad! If you want a pup that looks tough and handsome but really is just a big gentle baby who loves cuddles and attention, he’s the dog for you!

Brad has been with AARCS since January and has stolen everyone’s hearts. He finally got himself a foster home at the beginning of April but would love to find a forever home. After being in the shelter for over two months he is adjusting to the home life very well and never wants to go back!

He absolutely adores playing tug or fetch and you’ll never see him more excited then when he realizes he is going for a walk. He walks great on the leash and does just as well on runs. He loves sniffing all the new smells and exploring the outdoors. He’d love to find himself a family that’s active and loves the outdoors so he can accompany you on all your adventures.

Brad is fully house trained and has never had an accident indoors. But after being in the shelter for a couple months, he got very used to going outside accompanied by someone. he hasn’t started asking to go outside on his own yet and will wait by the door for you to go outside with him. But in time, I think he will get comfortable asking to go out on his own.

This handsome boy is such a gentle giant but when he gets excited he makes everyone laugh at his clumsiness. For the most part he is always calm, but can get jumpy while playing or while waiting to go for a walk. We are working at mastering four on the floor but he’s such a smart boy and we think he’ll be there in no time. He really is such a gentle boy and we think he would do great with kids, cats, or other dogs.

Beyond his energy and enthusiasm, Brad is always up for a nap and snuggles. He loves cuddling up to his humans to watch some TV or when its time for bed. He’s just happy being included in all of your everyday activities!
