About Soia

Soia’s adoption fee is sponsored by someone who knows her and wants her to find the perfect home.

“My name is Soia and I am so sweet and loving. I will always be by your side and win over your heart with my kind eyes and demeanour.

I will also have endless tail wags, butt wiggles and kisses for you, and you may never get a better greeting when you come home.

I have made amazing progress with not jumping up with excitement but am still practising, because of this, I think older kids in the home would be best for me. My favorite things to do are playing with my foster sister in the backyard, chew on toys, car rides and cuddle up on the couch with my foster parents for a movie night.

I love having a companion to play and snuggle with, I think I would do well with another dog in the house with proper introductions and time to get to know each other.  I have met a few other dogs with proper introductions, I can be a combination of nervous and excited, but I do well once we get to know each other a bit.  When I see another dog on a walk while on leash, I get so excited that I will sometimes pull with all my might and call out to them, I am working on being calm and will need my future family to continue with training for positive walks.

I’m a very smart, intuitive girl, and I catch on quickly. I’m a pro at sit, shake-a-paw, and stay, and working on lay down, leave it, and drop it. I’m eager to please and it’s has been fun to work on my new skills in the backyard and on walks. Although I am crate trained, I’m really hoping to have my very own comfy bed to sleep on where I can sprawl out (or maybe even be able to sneak up on your bed in the middle of the night to cuddle.) I would make a great adventure buddy because I’m curious, happy, confident, and great in the car.

Something else you should know about me, is that I used to have a hard time holding my bladder when I was snoozing. The vet hooked me up with some medication that I now take twice daily (with cheese) which seems to work well for me because I now snooze away with no accidents.  I am fully house trained, and will ask to be let out like the little angel I am.

I got so much love to give and am so deserving of so much love too! I can’t wait to meet my people! Love you already!” – xo, Soia Bean
