“Hi, my AARCS name is Dacquiri but my fosters parents call me Teddy cause I’m such a snuggle bug and such a sweetheart.

I am a happy, curious, energetic young puppy. I love to play with my humans or the resident dog, and then when I’m fresh out of energy I just want to cuddle with my foster Mom. Mom says I am a really good puppy especially when I get all of my energy out.

I love playing with toys and balls and toilet paper:) I’m not supposed to play with the whole roll but sometimes it’s irresistible:) I also like to play outside but not when it’s too cold. Brrr.”

Teddy is working on house training and is really getting the hang of it, especially when he gets a treat for going potty outside. He’s also getting used to wearing a harness but doesn’t get the point of it (haha). I can’t wait till he can go for walks, then he’ll see the point:). He knows how to “sit” and “touch” and is working on other basics. Teddy is treat motivated which has made training easier.
Teddy really likes to sleep close to you and when he does, he sleeps well through the night (with a pee right before bed and then first thing in the morning).

“Mom doesn’t think I am going to be a very big dog because my feet are not that big and, at 3.5 months, I only weigh 14 lbs. I would love to find a forever home with a fenced yard and maybe a pal to play with but I’m sure I would also do well as the only dog cause I do love attention. I am energetic, so an active family that will take me on walks and play with me would bring out the best in me. I sure hope I find a forever family who will love, and take good care of me for the rest of my life. And I know I will love you all of mine!”
