Meet Sailor, a gentle, lovable and energetic girl that can’t wait to meet her furever family. She is the sweetest girl that is adored by all. When Sailor first arrived to AARCS she was a shy, timid and anxious girl that was afraid to let her guard down. She has grown tremendously. She is still getting used to new people and environments and might need some time to adjust. With patience she will show what a joy she is to be around. Sailor loves to play and go on walks. Whether it’s the zoomies, chewing or sniffing around, she knows how to have a good time.

Sailor does tend to be more picky when it comes to food and may need extra patience and encouragement when introducing new foods and eating. Sailor struggles with being alone for long periods but will continue to improve with the use of high value enrichment items. With training and time she will continue to grow into the brave and confident girl that she is.

Sailor is looking for an active home with a fenced in yard for her to run around and play in. Since she is a bit more anxious, she will do best in a house with older kids and smaller dogs, if any. She is incredibly smart and enjoys learning new tricks and activities. You will fall in love with the sweetheart that she is. Her kind eyes and big smile will warm your heart.
