Meet Velma! Velma is a sweet and playful 1-year old who’s always ready for adventure! 🐾

She has adjusted quickly to her foster home. She loves long walks, but also loves to snuggle in her warm doggie bed.

She can be a little shy when meeting new people but with a bit of encouragement warms up quickly. While she is full of personality and loves to play, she’s still working on basic manners. She’s a quick learner, but she’ll need some patience and consistent training to reach her full potential.

She is doing well with her leash training, however can be a bit nervous of new environments, or if other dogs or people approach unexpectedly. She’s had her first play-date with a neighborhood dog and after being introduced slowly, she played very well with him on and off leash in our fenced yard.

She has not been around children but we have no doubt if introduced slowly she will do fine.

Velma deserves a chance at a happy forever home.💕
