“Hello, I’m Piglet! My foster family says I’m short and stocky like a little piggie.

I’m perhaps the cuddliest dog you will ever meet. I came into foster care from a community where I wasn’t allowed inside. So, I’m a bit new to house-life, but I’m eager to learn house rules. At first, I was very reluctant to enter new environments such as a garage or house, but now, I’ve got that down pat. My foster parents are trying to make me more comfortable entering their vehicle, but once I’m inside, I’m an excellent passenger. I’ve gone to work with my foster dad where I get to meet loads of people who are more than happy to give me loves and belly rubs. I’m not too fond of interacting with other dogs so it’s best that I be an only-dog in a home as I can have all the attention. I have not met any little humans but older ones 10+ with dog experience should be okay as I can be a bit head shy and sensitive being touched around the neck area.

I have no problem sleeping through the night, and sometimes will even share a lullaby snore with you! I’m the best cuddler on the couch or even on the bed if I’m allowed. I love putting on my harness and going on walks. There is so much to see in the great outdoors! At least once/day I would love to challenge you to a game of chase in a yard or around the house. I’m quite fast, you know, and sometimes get the zoomies! I take treats gently and have done well in a crate after being exercised.

I love to communicate through moans, groans, howling, just to let you know that I’m around! When I’m a bit bored, I can find a toy and entertain myself, although I’m sure you will be entertained watching me!
