I am a medium level floof with a pretty brush of a tail but this does mean that I need a little extra care and attention to coat maintenance.  I was so matted when I came into the shelter that my poor belly and backside got a liberal shave and I’m still feeling a little naked.  I do love being combed and petted and my coat condition has improved so much I’m getting softer and shinier by the day.

I am such a resilient and social little girl that when I got out of the shelter, I came out of my carrier purring. The first thing I wanted to do, even before exploring, was to have a snuggle.  I settled into my new foster home immediately and am one of those kitties who just seems so grateful and happy to have my own food dish and a comfy place to curl up in my signature ball and have a nap.  I love being around people and I’m never far away even when you’re busy and I will always take the opportunity to snuggle up beside you when you do sit down on the couch and I will cuddle on the bed with you all night long.

I am a very sensible and calm adult cat, no kitten hijinks for me.  I’m not at all interested in any type of cat toy but I may occasionally show a passing interest in a fly that has snuck in the house or a loose bit of paper that flutters off the counter.  This means I completely respect your things and show no interest in climbing the curtains or harvesting the houseplants. I don’t feel the need to be on the counters or the table unless you forget to feed me first before you cook our own wonderful smelling food.  I am a very expressive and communicative cat and will follow you around the house and “grumble” at you, making a noise that is somewhere between a purr and a meow.  I grumble frequently to be picked up or petted and will definitely let you know when it’s time for dinner.

I am meticulous about using my litter box but can be a bit of a messy eater. I haven’t quite figured out indoor dining protocol and do better eating off of a flat plate than out of a bowl so I can move my food around and eat the best bits first.  I do absolutely love it when my people are home and I can get frequent snuggles. I don’t get overly stressed when I’m left by myself for a while either though I will be sitting right by the door to say hello and get a cuddle the moment I hear you get back home. 

I am very suitable as a solo cat in a home with lots of love and attention but would probably also be okay with another cat given proper introductions.  I am likely best suited to a quieter home with a person or family who is looking for a sweet and very loving companion.
