“Hi! My name is Panicle but my foster family calls me Penny. I’m a sweet little love bug on the hunt for my best friend forever!

I’m a brave, curious girl who loves to play, cuddle, chase my ball and greet people coming into my house with lots of wiggles. I have a signature move I do that’s kind of a cross between a somersault and a head stand. It means “rub my belly” and makes my foster parents laugh every time. Hard to describe so you really should come see my moves for yourself. Outside the house I’m quite a bit more cautious. I’m nervous of other dogs, people & bikes on walks, so I usually bark. My fosters are helping me create positive associations by pairing new encounters with food, & I’m making great progress!

I’m a smart little cookie and very eager to learn. I love to do training exercises and would thrive with a family who can take me to puppy school, help me with my homework and give me puzzles to engage my brain. I’m still just a little girl so my new BFF will need to be patient while I continue to work on puppy manners like jumping up and learning that hands and fingers don’t go in my mouth.

My foster parents made a huge deal about me “making good choices” when I recently gave myself a bedtime routine. I go outside for my final pee pee and then race into my crate, flop down and wait for my bedtime cookie. As soon as my cookie is done, I’m asleep for the night.

I sleep through the night in my crate and nap in my Xpen during the day. I’m pretty sure every moment is a good time just waiting to happen.
