AARCS is a non-profit organization that relies on the generosity of the public to help cover the costs of all our expenses, the majority being veterinary care for our animals. While we have the manpower, drive and ambition, financial support is essential to cultivate and maintain not only the basic costs, but to further develop our programs and initiatives.

Become a Monthly Donor
Please consider becoming monthly donor. Sign up for any monthly amount, $20, $50, $100 directly from your bank account or credit card. It may not seem like a lot, but this reliable and steady monthly donation helps maintain our programs and ultimately help more animals. A tax receipt and thank you card will be mailed out at the end of each year.

Donate Your Appreciated Securities / Stocks
There are many great benefits to donating your appreciated securities. Giving publicly traded securities (stocks, bonds, or mutual fund shares) is a tax-smart way to support AARCS. You will receive a tax receipt for the full appreciated value of the donation and you are not subject to any capital gains tax.

Employee Matching and Volunteer Programs
Many local companies such as Devon, Suncor, Encana, BMO Bank of Montreal, BP Canada, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Husky Energy, Nexen, Intact Insurance, ATB Financial, PennWest, Shell Canada, Suncor, Telus and TransCanada have employee-matching programs. Find out if your company has a program and double your donation.
Some organizations also provide volunteer grants, whereby after a certain number of volunteer hours the company will provide AARCS with a donation to reward you for your contribution to the volunteer sector.

Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society plans to raise $353,000 this year on fund-raising campaigns. It will cost the organization approximately $35,700 in order to raise this amount. The money raised will go to support the organizations mission to improve the lives of animals by rescuing and providing sanctuary to abandoned, surrendered or abused animals; assisting communities to achieve healthy and respectful relationships with animals; promoting responsible and compassionate guardianship and advocating on behalf of all animals.
