Slightly Timid

Hi there, my name is Chunk. Like my name implies, I’m chunky… with love to give!

When I first came to my foster home, I was a little unsure of things – new people, new sights, new sounds.. It was kind of scary! But now that I know it’s all okay, I’ve shown my foster mom my softer side. I like spending time around her, taking long naps on the couch beside her while she works. I also enjoy short spans of attention (I start purring instantly when someone pets me!) or casually grazing on my food throughout the day.. I’m also a very expressive cat and like to let people know exactly how I’m feeling! Because of this, I’d likely do best in a home without young children.

Now, as you may have guessed I’m a little on the heavier side, so I’m currently on a special diet to shed some extra pounds. However, I enjoy scoping out new areas, so maybe that will help! I’m also a pretty good boy about using my scratcher and litter box, and even let my foster mom trim a nail here and there. With some time and patience, I know I will make an excellent companion for the right home given all of my good qualities!
