About Tippi

“Hello! My name is Tippi and one look into these eyes will have you convinced that I’m the sweetest pup on the planet!

I can be a little nervous around new people but my foster mom says that I am learning to be very brave. I still don’t like people approaching me too quickly but if you let me come to you I’ll reward you with lots of snuggles. If you get to know me well enough I might even let you rub my belly!

I love playing with the other dog in the house, and he’s taught me a lot about being brave around humans. I think I would really like to find a home that has another confident dog already living there to show me the ropes. I also have a foster sister that’s a cat and I think she’s pretty neat. For some reason she doesn’t want to play with me but I’m very good at respecting her boundaries, so if you have a kitty in your home I think we would get along just fine!

If you’re not already convinced that I’m amazing then let me just say that I am a super duper good walker! I don’t pull at all, even if I see a bird or a squirrel. I can even walk in a pretty good heel position if you reward me with treats! Speaking of treats, snacks are for sure the quickest way to my heart. Once we become friends you’ll be able to teach me all sorts of cool tricks! I’ve been learning a lot of new things about living in a house lately and I’ve got most of them down pat.

I’m okay being left in a confined space with a couple toys while you go to work and I settle down really well at night. I’m almost perfect when it comes to house training and have only had a couple accidents since coming into my new foster house. I can hold it all day if you’re away and all night while we’re sleeping but sometimes if I get stressed in the house I need to use my pee pads. Once I’m settled in and get used to a new routine I shouldn’t have any problems though!

I promise if you’re patient with me that I will make you feel like the luckiest person in the whole world. Will you be my forever home?” – xo, Tippi
