About Charlie

“Hello! I’m Charlie! I’m currently fast asleep beside my foster mom as she tears up thinking about me finding a new family.

My perfect day consist of sleeping in past my alarm clock and then going on an adventure with you – I’m up for anything!

I recently found out what ‘home life’ is all about and I’m a pro! No need to keep me entertained while you’re at work, I got this! I’m a very quiet girl – I like taking naps and laying outside in the yard. I am happy to share my toys and my food (if you want a taste) but I won’t beg for yours; I’ve never made the mistake of chewing the wrong things or going to the bathroom in the wrong spot. (Yay! You can skip puppy training!)

Because I didn’t have much of a family growing up, I am a bit ‘under-socialized’ when it comes to my dog friends. For me, this means I am vocal and over-excited when I try to play; this can be intimidating for my fur friends.

Besides play dates, I am obedient and fine-tuning my leash manners. I can get a bit eager on walks and need an occasional reminder to slow down in the beginning. My size just means I have a lot of love to go around, even with your little kids – I will happily give them a big kiss and carefully take treats from their hand. Your family is my family! You’d think I would have more energy based on my size but once we get home from a walk, that snooze button looks really good!

I am just wagging my tail to meet you! Real life teddy bear coming your way!” – xo, Charlie
