About Little Girl
“Hi! My name is Little Girl – I’m as smart and curious as an Arctic fox and I kind of look like one too! I’m much friendlier than a fox though…I love people and my whole body wiggles with excitement when I meet them.
I’m still pretty new to this whole ‘living in a house’ thing and sometimes I get surprised by new sounds and weird objects (and a tiny bit anxious), but my foster mom reassures me and gives me treats and I calm down. Speaking of treats…I am so eager to learn new skills and will do just about anything for a liver treat! I’m an expert at ‘sit’ and have almost mastered ‘down’ and ‘come’. ‘Drop it’ is a bit trickier but I’m working on it! Oh – and if I get distracted by something outside in the yard, my foster mom whistles just once and I race over to her at full speed!
Did you know I’m also a champion at fetch? I could fetch my squeaky toy ALL day long. If I get too worked up from all the squeaking and running, I go inside for a nap. At the end of the day, I sleep all night in my own bed next to my foster mom’s bed…I’m quiet and I only wake up if she does. I only had one accident in the house on my very first day here, since then I do all my business outside. My foster mom makes sure we go outside lots – and I’m figuring out how to grumble at the door if she forgets and it’s urgent.
My foster mom works from home so I haven’t had much practise being alone in my crate yet – I’m a brave girl though – I’ll let you know how it goes! I love belly rubs and snuggles, but sometimes I forget that hands don’t belong in my mouth…I’m still pretty young and with calm instructions and a bit of practice I know I can improve!
I’m a sweet, happy Little Girl (Lily for short!) who would love my very own forever family. Can’t wait to meet you!” – xo, Little Girl
