Hi! My name is
Date of Birth
June 21, 2019
When I first came to live with my foster family I was pretty scared and did not want to come out of my crate in the garage. We took it slow, and after a few days I got braver and came into the house. Now I love living with my foster parents, my mellow foster dog brother and a pretty chill cat. I like playing with my foster brother out in the yard in short spurts (I can run REALLY FAST), but then we both like to go lie down and relax. The cat is pretty aloof, so I act aloof too. No drama here.
I love it when people come to visit! I can get pretty excited, but calm down quickly and then just want to be petted. If people don’t want to pet me, that’s okay too. I haven’t had any little people visit, but foster mom thinks as long as they are respectful we would get along just fine.
I have met a few dogs and like some better than others. I can be shy and a bit timid, so bigger dogs or high energy dogs can scare me. When I’m scared I might nip and then go find a safe place to lie down. But I’ve also met some friendly dogs the same size as me and we had a good time running around in the yard.
Have you noticed I like playing in the yard? That’s because I don’t like to walk on a leash. Silly, I know, but we all have our quirks. My foster parents have been working on this quirk with me, but for now no leash walks or dog parks for me. But hey, that means I won’t be bugging you all the time to go for a walk! I’m happy just hanging out with you on the couch (or on the floor) or in the fenced yard.
I have never had an accident in the house and just need someone to take me outside to do my business. My foster parents leave me and my foster brother alone in the house when they go out and I just go to sleep on the couch or my dog bed. No problem! I also sleep soundly through the night. But when foster mom gets up to give me breakfast I get pretty excited and will howl my approval. Foster mom thinks this is pretty cute.
If this all sounds good to you, maybe you could be my forever home!” – xo, Cimber
