About Miley

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about the lovely Miss Miley! She is a sweet, playful girl who likes the simple things in life – family, fun, and naps. Oh, and food – how could I forget that? She is a total smarty so this combination has been super for her training!

She loves to please and loves to be around you; most often wandering curiously around you or snuggled up beside you. Games of any kind are great – tug of war, fetching balls – but she is also happy on her own with a chew toy. This independent dog can easily entertain herself, earnestly chasing her own tail around or spending 20 minutes playing with a single cherry tomato (for both her amusement and yours.)

Miley loves the outdoors and to explore the world with her nose. She is good on leash in general but can pull, particularly when she is excited. Having her own fenced backyard would be a dream come true.

In the home, she will rest quietly in her bed or her crate and is content to be left on her own. She sleeps through the night and is house trained.

Like many of her AARCS friends, life in a home is new. With Miley being a nervous dog, the world can seem scary at times and she will bark to alert you when something unexpected is going on. Her fear leads to a heightened excitement with strangers and other dogs, so these interactions need to be managed to keep her from being overwhelmed.

This beautiful young lady will win you over with her affection and dedication to her family, but it’s her bubbly personality and acrobatic training that will keep you laughing, trying to remember what life was like without her. Let AARCS know that you just must meet her!
