Escobar is a friendly fellow with a passion for exploration! He walks very well on leash and loves nothing more than to go out into the world and claim it as his own, one lamppost or fire hydrant at a time.

The perfect home for Escobar will be one that can give him lots of love, as well as chances to get out and be active. Escobar is fantastic with people of all sizes. He loves to cuddle up in the evening and has been gentle and patient with the kids he has met while in foster.

Escobar also has an unreciprocated… enthusiasm for various creatures of the world, such as squirrels and cats. On the other hand, it does translate into a lot of fun with the flirt stick in the backyard. His impulse control has gotten pretty good while on leash and he continues to work on it.

With other dogs, Escobar can be a bit selective. He generally does very well with friendly dogs and has come a long way in not reacting to those who aren’t.

If you give him half a chance, this big lug will worm his way into your heart and the both of you will be all the better for it.
