About Rizal

“Hi, my name’s Rizal. I was surrendered along with my puppies who’ve all found the forever homes and I would love to do the same.

When I got to my foster I was so happy to be there I would wag my tail whenever anyone even moved. At first walking was a bit scary but now I love it! Sometimes I’ll pull a bit on the leash but it’s so new to me I’ll eventually get the hang of it. My foster says I shouldn’t nibble on people even if I’m really gentle and make cute faces when I do it. I don’t understand why because I’m not hurting anyone but I’m listening and will play with my toys instead. When I was first given a toy I wasn’t sure what to do with it but I watched what my puppies were doing and I get the hang of it now.

I haven’t been tested with other dogs but there were dogs on the property I came from so I think I’ll be ok with proper introductions. I get a bit nervous of other dogs on my walk but I just stay out of the way and walk past slowly. To be honest I’m more interested in meeting people then other dogs but I can be a little shy when I’m meeting someone out and about.

I’m rarely vocal and if I do bark I listen when my foster tells me everything is ok. Most of the time you’d hardly know I’m there but sometimes I do get bursts of energy and I need to learn how to expel the energy correctly, I think another playmate would help with that.

I love cuddling and being pet and can’t wait to find my new family to shower with love and affection!” – xo, Rizal
