About Link

Link is the most loving, cuddly, and energetic boy. He’s the full package! He is an adult male, medium sized mixed breed. Link had a rough start at life, but he didn’t let it get him down one bit. All he wants is to give and receive love from his humans!

Link came into care with AARCS with a chain embedded in his neck. He had surgery to remove the chain and has healed very nicely. Link doesn’t have any problems with his neck or reactivity around the area; he’s a very easygoing boy. He LOVES to be outside, and walks amazing on leash. I think he would be a perfect hiking/ running buddy or just with anyone that likes to spend a lot of time outside.

,Link has been uncomfortable with dogs during introductions, gets overwhelmed easily, and doesn’t really know how to play just yet so he would be best as the only dog in the home for now. Link needs a home that understands he may never be comfortable going to off leash parks or dog daycare. He walks well on leash and ignores other dogs, but might bark and react to them passing by if they react to him first.

The only thing Link loves more than the outdoors, is food! He will do almost anything for food. He already knows commands such as: Sit, Jump, Shake a paw, lay down, and is working on roll over. He is such a smart boy and fast learner! He is completely potty trained and lets you know when he wants to go out.  As much as Link loves to play and be active during the day, he is the biggest snuggler at night.

Link is a special boy who is an absolute joy to have around. With love and attention he is a perfect addition for any family!
