About Luwin

“Hiya! My name is Luwin, but sometimes my friends call my Winnie. Although I’m not ready to be adopted, I am ready to start mingling!

I’m a very flirtatious and dramatic girl just looking’ around for a best friend with a touch of romance and companionship. I take love seriously, so I hope you feel the same way cause I won’t take no for an answer! My story isn’t super clear, but I like to focus more on what’s in store ahead rather than stay too long in the past. Something that I am sure about is that I really like my people, and don’t mind being picked up but definitely prefer to be soaking up pets from your lap. As long as you’re touchin’ me you can be my bae.

I’ve been a longer term foster while the medical team tries there’s best to rid me of a straight up nasty upper respiratory infection (URI) so while I’m not ready for my very own family, I will be soon.

I’m like, pretty small compared to most cats out there and some of my fans who come to visit me have described me as a perm-kitten. I take that with a grain of salt though because I’m not nearly as wild as one of those kitten things, however I do enjoy a tin foil ball when the mood strikes me. I do like to play, I’m just learnin’ to focus on my toys rather than my foster parents arms or feet. 90% of the time I remember that hands are for my pets and lovin’ and feet’s are for peoples movin’ but occasionally I forget and try a sick move to entice play. My foster mom says that I’m lucky I’m so gentle, but I unlike some cats, I know that with great power comes great responsibility. So like, even when I make the wrong choice and try to paw at or nibble a hand I’m sure not to use my super strength. I’m learnin’ fast though, and clear rules like claws/teeth on skin=no more touch or play, really help me to succeed. It probably helps and is worth mentioning that I only have like 6 teeth left from my rough start to life. But don’t worry, I’m not bothered and can still enjoy my hard food, it just took me some getting used to.

I can’t wait to start feeling better to meet the resident cats in my foster home and like gain some extra freedoms out of my quarantine room. But you’ll have to wait for any updates there since they say I’m still contagious. I say- Ugh whatever! I’ll just be with my tin foil ball when you’re ready to free me!

My foster mom thinks I’ll like some kitty friends, but we just won’t know for sure for a while longer. Right now I’ll work hard to feel better and try my best to update you in hopes that maybe you’ll wait for me. I hate to have to wrap things up, but I really need to get back to my Netflix show and foster moms lap, but like maybe some day soon we can Netflix and chill and live happily ever after together? I think I’d like that.” –xo Luwin
