Hi! My name is
I have an Adoption Application Pending!
Date of Birth
June 7, 2019
Radley is a happy-go-lucky boy! He keeps us laughing with his insatiable curiosity and his puppy-like antics… and…that adorable face! He is very food motivated, and will do just about anything for a piece of kibble or a treat. He loves walks and does well on a leash but can be an excitable rowdy dude. He can sit and lay down on command. He has started crate training, and is happy and quiet in his crate for a couple hours at a time. He has also been left uncrated for a short stretches. Radley is housetrained and overall a quiet boy in the house and yard.
He is still a young fellow and loves to chew, so a supply chew toys are a must. He has pretty much figured out that his toy box, holds all things chewable! He can get excitable when wanting to play and may jump up or use his mouth to nibble. He does well stopping if told to “sit” and then given a treat. He will need an adult home experienced in dealing with this type of behaviour! Lots of exercise works very well to keep him settled, and he is perfectly content to nap for a few hours after a walk or playtime.
Radley has gotten along very well with all the friendly dogs he has met on walks and excels at rough and rowdy playdates. He would love another dog in the home to play with and get his puppy energy out with. Radley has had some selective food guarding tendencies towards other dogs (not people) so he will need a home either where he is the only dog, or a confident and playful adult dog and a home who can separate him for food and treats and keep him out of the kitchen area. He has also been fine meeting new people.
Radley would do well with another playful dog, no cats or small animals, and older or no children. He is a lovely, good natured, goofy guy, and will keep his new family laughing!
