About Ronan

“Oh, Hello! They call me Ronan, although Sinatra might have been better because of my striking blue eyes. I’ve been chillin’ with my awesome foster family, getting used to all the luxuries that come with being a house dog. So far, soft beds and lots of petting are my favourite perks. When I move to my furever home, I hope you’ll have lots of patience, as I’ll be quite shy while settling in.

I’m doing well at walking on leash and I haven’t had any accidents in the house. I really like being outside, so it would be great if my new home had a fenced yard. Other dogs can be great fun, as long as I get proper introductions & cats are ok too.

I’m still learning basic cues, but I’m very food motivated & proving to be a quick learner. I’ve also learned that sometimes I can sneak food off the counter when people aren’t looking! My new people will have to help me out with enrichment activities & manners. I also get a bit upset when my people leave & will howl for a few minutes. For this reason, I’d do best in a detached home. with a fenced yard.

I often just need some extra time to get used to new situations & new people. I really hope you’ll be able to see past my initial shyness & give me a chance to worm my way into your heart.” – xo, Ronan
