Hi! My name is
I’m an Animal in Care at AARCS
Date of Birth
January 29, 2021
Bolton is a handsome and clever pup! He came into AARCS’ care from another organization after breaking his leg and since then he has been eager to recover and explore the world! He is an energetic busy bee and would prefer a family who is active and can take him for adventures.
Bolton’s heart-stopping good looks make him a social butterfly around new people. He enjoys the company of children, who are often as eager to play with him as he is with them. Bolton can get very excited around cats, and although his reactions have improved significantly with positive reinforcement, he is still learning not to chase. He has not yet been tested around many dogs, but his curious personality is excited by passing dogs and I would guess he would do well as a doggy duet or triplet.
Like most young puppies he is working through mouthing; as soon as teeth touch skin, attention goes away. Making sure there are plenty of enrichment activities for him to explore instead. He is a constant companion and enjoys the presence of his people because he is completely devoted to those he loves.
Adopt Bolton for a pup who loves you the way you are!
