About Callaghan

“Hi, I’m Callaghan! I’m a super friendly and outgoing boy looking for my forever home.

My absolute favorite thing is being around my humans. I love to chase feet under the covers, and I will sleep at the foot of your bed every night. I get so excited when it’s time to get up in the morning and when the humans get home. I love to play, and I will occupy myself with toys when you’re busy working or doing other boring human things. Sometimes when my humans are playing with me, I have a tendency to get overstimulated and give love bites and start play fighting. So, it may be best that I’m not around young children.

Overall, I have good habits when it comes to using my scratching post and litter box. There are just a couple things my foster mom is working on with me. I don’t really understand boundaries yet and my foster mom is working on training me to stay off the counters, stove and tables. I also love the smell of certain foods and will sometimes try to eat your food when you aren’t looking. My foster mom has also been training me to stay away from human food since it’s not healthy for me.

I am a very curious boy and I’m fascinated by water. I will regularly jump into the bathroom sink when the water is running to see what it’s all about. I even jumped into the shower with my foster mom the other day – I didn’t stay long, but I just had to check it out!

If you are looking for an active and friendly cat, I’m your guy!”
