About Rhino

“Howdy, I’m Rhino! I am a loving and rambunctious boy with a zest for life and a love of playing. I had a rough start to life when I was involved in a car accident; it was touch and go for a while but I am back healthy and better than ever.

Squeaky toys are my favourite! I’ll even toss them around for myself! I am kennel trained and I sleep in my kennel quietly all night. When I’m not napping I am constantly on the GO. I am a busy boy and I love to play games and go for walks! I know how to sit and lay down – house training I am still working on but with consistency I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it.

Potentially due to the accident I was in, I don’t have the best coordination and I sometimes run into things or vehicles passing by might spook me. I do really well though with the eyesight I do have and it really doesn’t slow me down. I am still learning that nipping isn’t a great idea so I would do best in a home without young children. I have a hard time controlling my excitement and sometimes I get a little too bouncy or frustrated and need some quiet time.

My foster parents say my manners are improving so I would love to keep working on that with you! Speaking of a new family, I would do best with a friendly medium or large sized dog that loves to rough house as much as I do, there is no better game than racing around with a friend! Cats are not for me – unless I get to chase them! A yard would also be the absolute best so I have a safe space to play fetch and romp around! I am also working on house training and need a home willing to teach me all the basics.

I’m looking for an active family that has experience with smart, high energy dogs like myself as I love to think outside the box. I will need lots of puzzles and fun brain games to play to keep my brain busy as well as my body. I am a unique boy with a lot to offer! I love attention and cuddles when I’m sleepy. I have a few quirks but the best way to find out if we’re a match is to meet me and see!

Let’s be best friends!” – xo, Rhino
