Hi! My name is
I’m an Animal in Care at AARCS
Date of Birth
February 22, 2020
On a normal day I wag my tail, I come to get pets and scratches, and I eat treats from their hands! I zoom around the yard full at speed and I even play with my dog friend Sampson. His sister Delilah shows me her teeth so I know she is saying back off – not so close to me. I love bedtime because I jump on the bed and foster lady and I have “silly play” and cuddles and then I go lay on my bed. I always potty outside. I am a good girl!
Foster lady says I am making good progress but new things scare me. The leash makes me turn into a pancake so foster lady puts a foot long piece of leash on my collar for me to drag around but that is scary too! I had a truck ride in my crate and never said a peep. When we got to North Haven to get my shots I was stressed but not mean or shut down. Foster lady says baby steps; I just need to take baby steps. I will be staying in the foster home for a little longer but my foster lady is sure I will make a wonderful companion for somebody. I have a very sweet disposition with a silly zoomy side.
Oh I almost forgot…I am smart! My foster lady says I learned people words really easy. Inside, outside, come when called, back off, go through (gates). I came into care scared of my own shadow” – xo, Ivy
