Hi! My name is
I’m an Animal in Care at AARCS
Domestic Long Hair
Date of Birth
June 18, 2019
Just like my name alludes, I like to play hide and seek. I have found some great hiding spots at my foster home so far! I’m not a shy girl though, I love to be pet and love to explore. My foster Mom was told I might need some time to warm up to new people, but I wanted to show her right away how much I like affection. Mom says I seem to be okay with strangers because when I met my foster Dad, I wanted pets from him right away too. I don’t mind being picked up either, I really like affection. I haven’t been exposed to kids yet so I’m not sure how I would act around them. I live with two small breed dogs right now and we mostly stay away from each other or look at each other from far away. I have been close to each of them separately and I felt okay, but when they were both close to me at the same time, I felt overwhelmed and let them know. My foster Mom thinks I would be okay in a house with a well behaved, calm dog, but that I probably would prefer to have the affection to myself.
My foster Mom was told I hiss quite a bit at other cats, so a home where I am the only feline is the best fit for me. I can be a chatty girl, but am more vocal when I have to be alone in a room. I just want to be able to explore and gets pets. I will settle down after a few minutes if I am not able to come out to explore though. I am fully litterbox trained too!
So, if you’re looking for a sweet, fluffy, affectionate cat, I’m your girl!”
