About Andy
Since I had to spend a few months in quarantine I am just learning most things and manners, but I am catching on pretty quick, even though I think all of the food and things in the house should be mine. I know how to sit and am pretty good at leaving it, sometimes I stay, but I just like to be where the action is so that one is tough for me. I am almost housebroken and don’t have too many accidents if I am let out often.
I do sleep in my crate overnight, but am not a big fan of going in there but I am working on it. I am just a cuddler and want to be next to my foster all the time. Because I can be a bit vocal in my crate, I should go to a home with a yard – apartments and condos may not be for me!
When I get excited or overtired, I tend to use my mouth a lot to play, even though my humans don’t really like it. But I have been getting better and with some more patience and consistency I will play without my mouth. I love playing with my ball and fetch is one of my favourite games. Kids in my future home should be older while I learn not to use my mouth.
Lastly, I should go to a home with another medium to large sized dog to play with – because I missed on some important playtime growing up, this will be essential in helping me learn to cope with my puppy energy and give me a trustworthy role model to learn from.
I can’t wait to find my forever home – hopefully it will be with you!” – xo, Andy
